She is the founder of The Voice Movement to end child sexual abuse and exploitation, and the non-profit organization, VOICE Today providing child sexual abuse advocacy, awareness, prevention and healing resources. She holds a Masters in Forensic Psychology and is an Ordained Minister. She authored From Sorrows To Sapphires, and co-author of 6 other books. As a survivor of 14 years of child sexual abuse, and crusader for the cause, she is passionate about saving the innocence of the next generation of children and giving survivors a voice. She received the 2007 Hearing Children’s Voices Award, 2011 Woman of Influence Award, the 2013 Honorary Unsung Heroine Award, the 2014 Ruby Soroptimist Award, was awarded the 2015 YWCA Woman of Achievement, and in 2016 was named Unstoppable Woman of the Year. TIME TO HEAL SERVICE
Time To Heal is a healing service for those wounded by childhood trauma. Angela Williams provides a rare opportunity for survivors of childhood wounding to be ministered to as she shares her journey of 14 years of physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse. Her pain is deepened by abandonment by her biological father and neglect by her mother. Time To Heal uncovers our toxic beliefs, our ungodly beliefs and our need for compassion and healing of our deepest wounds and our desperate need for the truth found in God's word. The service ends with a call to the cross. Angela travels with a sapphire cross based on her personal promise from God found in Isaiah 54:11, "Oh you storm tossed and not comforted, I will set you stones in fair colors and your foundations in sapphires." This service is truly life changing and gives survivors a spiritual marker to reflect on their Time To Heal.
